ahead_timeI have appreciated our Sahara desert excursion immensely. The journey took us via the proudly standing sand dunes of Erg Chigaga, Morocco. An array of little to large sand mountains reaching as considerably as our eye can see.
The solitude of the trek was extremely relaxing and calming. It was a excellent mediation to believe of practically nothing and turn into the centre of the Universe. I adopted the footsteps of my guide and his blue veil and blue djellaba leading our camels. He was a regional Nomad boy that grew up in this forsaken region and appeared like he realized each and every sand dune, each and every curve of the desert.
Our camels were strong, stunning and smelly. I suddenly experienced a wonderful appreciation for these animals. They stroll so carefully in gradual tempo rocking from one particular side to other. With out any complain they carry loads of weighty tools, supplies and our foodstuff. As gratitude, I had fed them peels of my orange and carrots out of my cous cous.
I appreciated the evenings so significantly, when the sunshine started out location down and temperature great of. The desert at that time became like one flame of pink color. All was crimson just before the black pitch night time with million of stars, robust and vivid protected the night time sky. I have in no way observed so several capturing commences, now I hope that all my needs will come real!
At night our guide created campfire and geared up tasty diner for us. We have even baked our own bread in the sand. We handed the time ahead of heading to rest by listening to his singing and drumming, by talking about lifestyle, his, ours. The stories instructed will be remembered. One night time a small group of local Nomads joined us. These people are the only folks you may well face on your journey even though the Sahara desert. Their herds of animals and young children search at your with interest. Their nomadic life may well seem to be passionate and they drastically enjoy the support one particular an additional.
I really like experience and have explored our Earth a bit. I have ski in the Alps, climbed the Kilimanjaro mountain, dived in the Fantastic Barrier reef, adopted the highway to Machu Pichu and I am happy to say that trekking of the Sahara Desert was so various to all these and so unique. It someway assists you replicate to your internal I.
